Seller's Notes:We've had our Crate & Barrel Monarch rectangular dining table for about 6 years. Made of rare lengths of solid walnut chosen for their beautiful cathedral graining, we have enjoyed having this table as a centerpiece in our apartment for hosting dinner parties, working, baking, wrapping presents, etc. While the table does reflect how well-loved it has been - there are watermarks, burns, stains, - the patina is rich and reflects the much sought-after distressed look made popular by Restoration Hardware. Seating six, the smaller Monarch rectangular dining table has a subtle live edge that respects the living nature of the wood, allowing it to expand and contract with seasonal changes in humidity. A subtle blend of browns and greys, Monarch's unique shiitake finish creates a fresh neutral tone that mixes well with other wood finishes. We would keep this table but we are moving so it's time for this table to start a new life with a new family!
