This 43" Regular Depth Model is currently a best-seller at Crate & Barrel. This very same Axis 2-Seat 88” Sofa Regular 43” Model with microfiber is currently retailing brand new at $2,249.00. I am the original owner, with store receipt (purchased new from Crate & Barrel in 2012) and have assiduously maintained this piece in a smoke-free and pet-free home. Includes four matching original throw pillows with brand new polyester fiberfill inserts and both (two) original arm cap covers. Deep seat cushions: Have a comfortable, supportive, medium-firm sit-on vs. sink-in feel, and are made with a supportive poly foam and a soft feather-down blend. With gentle regular vacuuming, the Axis Sofa remains very clean; it has been kept well maintained through regular intervals of rotation and flipping of the main seat cushions and backrest cushions. As a result, the seat and back cushions remain firm with no sagging. The sofa’s bench-made, kiln-dried (to prevent warping) hardwood frame and hickory finished (hardwood) fossil legs are each structurally sound. Manufacturer: McCreary Modern is one of the most respected upholstery manufacturers in the American furniture industry and is known for its durable, kiln-dried hardwood frames highly resistant to warping, twisting, or shrinking. Also well known is McCreary Modern’s bench-made construction for its durable spring-up Flexolator suspension foundation, which explains why this premium Axis sofa’s main seat cushions are still firm, even after over a decade. Douglas fabric microfiber has proven over time to retain its original Coffee Brown color (protected from both exposure to direct heat and intense sunlight). The Herringbone-woven proven durable microfiber texture still feels even, soft, and smooth with a suede-like texture. Fabric: Douglas (Color: Coffee). The “Douglas” fabric is a custom option.
