Seller's Notes:Great condition - a set of 2 metal Tig dining chairs purchased in 2021 from Crate and Barrel. Included with the chairs are the brown leather cushions that complement the chair, also from Crate and Barrel. These chairs are exceptionally comfortable - we are only parting with them as we are remodeling and they no longer fit with our table. From CB’s website: “Named for a complex welding technique used to secure non-ferrous metals and copper alloys, our Tig chair revels in the contrast of raw metals and the intricate welds that are typically covered with an opaque topcoat. Fashioning this kind of weld is difficult, and we relied on a team of highly skilled craftsmen who specialize in a kind of wire weaving that's been passed along from generation to generation. Entirely handcrafted, each chair is made in three stages by teams expert in frame structures, wire patterns for the seat and back and the final welding. Once finished, chairs are given a light acid wash bath yielding a grey iron patina and subtle brass weld marks.”
