Seller's Notes:This desk is real wood! It's a medium/light brown finish. It's compact when everything is pushed in - it is perfect for small NYC bedrooms. It comes with an additional pull-out writing surface, a decent sized drawer, and a fully detachable hutch on top with a drawer-like cubby and slots for papers/envelopes/etc. Dimensions: Height: overall (to top of hutch) 37.5 in; to top of desk 32 in; to top of roll-out surface 28 in. Width: overall 34 in; width of roll-out surface 28.5 in. Depth: 21.5 in; depth when roll out surface is fully extended 38 in. Blemishes/Scratches: It has a small circular stain on the top right of the desk. There are some scratches along the legs from my desk chair hitting it over the years. The legs with wheels can get loose with lots of rolling in-and-out, but its relatively easy to tighten them. The desk may seem wobbly on uneven floors, which are typical in old buildings.
