Seller's Notes:VINTAGE and MINT: a complete set owned by a friend, never displayed and therefore in excellent condition. This set of 10 limited edition plates, "Birds of Your Garden", is the first collector's series ever sponsored by Encyclopaedia Britannica. Painted exclusively for this limited edition by Kevin Daniels and fired to the traditional standard of Knowle's fine china in an edition strictly limited to 100 firing days. All the plates come with their certificate of authenticity, are in very good condition without chips or cracks and measure 8 1/2 inches in diameter. The ten plates have all their papers and will be sent in their original boxes. The series include: 1. The Cardinal 1985 2. The Blue Jay 1985 3. The Baltimore Oriole 1985 4. The Chickadee 1986 5.
