Seller's Notes:Vintage French Louis XV Courting Couple Tapestry Fauteuil Armchair Chateau D'ax Spa Beautifully carved and nicely scrolled open Fauteuil Bergere Armchair crafted late 20th century in Milan, Italy. Solid wood construction with a crest rail that is intricately carved along the top with floral display. The apron is skillfully carved. The elegant carving continues to the arms and seat rail. Chair has curvy legs, exquisite needlepoint on back, arm rests and seat. Accent nail head trims all upholstered areas. Beautiful needlepoint upholstery displays a courting couple and floral accents. Measurements: 38" tall x 23" wide x 20" deep. Seat Height 18 1/2 Very good condition. Vintage piece with normal wear and use. No tears in fabric. No gouges in legs or wood.
