Seller's Notes:I acquired this vintage desk/hutch on AptDeco about ten years ago; I'm not sure what year it was made, but I've treated it gently and it still has lots of life left! It would be perfect for a kid's room or another smaller space that still needs a good amount of storage: it has four drawers, two cabinets, and three shelves, which are perfect for books, office supplies, or DVDs. The decorative carvings are so charming and the drawers are lined with the sweetest blue floral print. There are some minor scuffs (which I think add to the vintage patina), a decorative piece that is separating a bit, and a small hole at the back of the shelf (though I have easily masked that with books). There's also a lamp and cord built in to the hutch; I haven't used this feature myself, so I'm not sure if it still works (though it's quite unobtrusive if you're not using it). Additionally, the hutch is actually a separate piece from the desk and can be lifted off of it, which makes for much easier moving. I'll also note that the opening at the bottom of the desk is 22 inches high, so it works best with lower chairs.
