CH Hartshorn Rocker and Chair
Product details
Seller's Notes:CH Hartshorn was a furniture manufacturer of hand woven reed chairs and later maple furniture, located in Gardner MA. and is believed to have opened in the 1800s and closed in 1993. These two items belonged to my grandparents and I believe they purchased these new at least back as far as the 1940s based on family photos taken in my grandparents apartment. When they built a house in 1950, that furniture moved with them. I was born in 1953 and sat on that furniture as soon as I was old enough. I'm sure I was rocked on the rocker as well. The brand of these items is CH Hartshorn, and the brass plates on the rear of both items identify them as such. The sale price listed is for each item.
