Century Furniture Antique Dark Brown Nightstands

Seller's Notes:Up for sale is a pair of Antique Century Furniture nightstands that have been a part of my family for decades. They are dark brown with ornate crafting and are in a style reminiscent of the Victorian Era. I understand that my grandparents purchased these around 1962 directly from Century Furniture, making these about 64 years old. One member of my family recalls hearing they were worth $2250 and were designed to the specifications of my grandparents. Century is well-known as a high-end luxury brand. These are very heavy, and made of solid hardwood. Each nightstand has a drawer and a cabinet where the doors swing out. These have traveled from North Carolina to California, and a few places in between (Missouri, Texas and Oregon). Despite their traveling history, they are definitely satisfactory/good. For 60+ year furniture, there is moderate blemishes, wear and tear and scratches. I have no doubt that these nightstands have at least another 64+ years of use left in them! The cosmetic blemishes cannot be seen from a far, as you can see in the photo where both nightstands are together. The scratches could easily be fixed and restored easily. I was keeping them to do this myself, but medical issues have quashed that plan and I must unload them to pay for medical bills. I thank you for looking at this, and I hope these family heirloom night stands go to someone who can appreciate them the same way that I do. They have been stored in a Sacramento area climate controlled storage facility for the past two years. They have never been around smoke or pets.
