The silhouette is clean and architectural noting the parsons form that keeps the focus on the material rather than competing with it.

Ancient Roman aqueducts and high-speed trains are the inspiration behind this sleek, lacquered table from Euga Design Studio in Italy. Table flows continuously in a dark Mappa burl wood veneer that nods to a vintage era. Fluid curve of each leg mirrors the sweeping, arched structure of the aqueducts—an architectural foundation for a stretch of Eurail tracks. Comfortably dines six, but will accommodate eight.
