Seller's Notes:We inherited this table from my father-in-law. He fell in love with it on a trip to the Amalfi Coast in 1999. It was a showpiece and cherished dining table in his home until we inherited it upon his passing in 2015. The only reason letting go of it is even a consideration is viewing it as his opportunity to contribute to his granddaughter’s college funds. It’s actually the 2nd table shipped to him from Italy as the first one broke during transport. As you will see on the website (linked), these tables are now only sent in 2 pieces. You can’t even order one from them in one piece anymore. This design and color theme is also no longer available. The 2 small chips happened when we made the mistake of moving it into our home in Chicago ourselves. The volcanic stone is extremely heavy and we had to rest it momentarily on our front steps. I included a photo of a mild crack as well. Otherwise it’s in splendid condition and will clearly last lifetimes.
