Seller's Notes:Nearly 7 feet tall, this solid mahogany antique replica Chippendale highboy dresser. It is a 2 piece, chest on chest, unit of 13 drawers (8 on top, 5 on bottom). The top 8 draw portion sits on top of the 5 draw bottom half for an easy move. The top chest features a hand carved bonnet-top pediment, pierced latticework, and flame finials. The bottom chest features a beautiful carved shell drawer, a carved apron, and cabriole legs with ball and claw feet, all detailed with neoclassical motifs. Selling due to move - A striking and elegant Highboy, sleek at 16.5" deep and 80" tall to the highest finial, and 38" wide. It is hand-carved solid wood Mahogany and intricately detailed. It is in very good condition and in good working order with the exception of a few of the legs which can use some extra reinforcement to eliminate some wobble. As well, the unseen top of the dresser is not entirely flat. Made in Indonesia.
