Camel Toned Leather Couch
Product details
Seller's Notes:I am unfortunately having to sell this legend as I make my way out west. While no price can truly be placed upon her, this couch might be the greatest couch that has ever lived. Originally owned by the man that inspired 'the most interesting man in the world', Roy Pinney (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Pinney). This camel toned leather couch had been home to some inspirational ideas and imagery. It is a couch where heroes are made. The true story of how I originally acquired this couch was from a listing by my friend Craig. At a much higher price than you see here, I might add. Our journey took us to mid-town where inside the home of Mr. Pinney hung a few black and white photographs. One of which shown a group of Bedouins on horseback from what looked like early 50's photography. As I inquired, Mr. Pinney's grandson regaled that his grandfather had been seeking lost tribes in Western Nepal (http://www.tor.cc/photos/Venezuela/dad-orinoco-cayuco.jpg) as he moved further west, he stumbled on a group identifying themselves as the Taliban (true story). The year was 1955. This.. is but a few of the stories bore deep in this artifact. Well, many more stories and a fold out bed (with new foam) IN regards to the physical traits, this old gal has new foam cushions and sleeps like an actual bed, no need to fold out, though she does if you'd rather. She is a steal at this price and a quality item. I hope she goes to a good home.
