Seller's Notes:A pair of beautifully restored wingback chairs from the esteemed mid-century designer Grosfeld House. Dating back to the 1950s, these chairs feature an exquisite butterfly back design, showcasing the craftsmanship typical of Grosfeld House. The wings of the chairs are crafted to resemble the spread wings of the butterfly, with the central body of the butterfly forming the crest of of the chair's back. The chairs were reupholstered in the early 2000's with a tasteful, light fabric which complements the dark, rich tones of the wood. Well maintained, they show minimal wear.
