Seller's Notes:This framed engraved map of the world is in very good condition in spite of hanging on the wall for a number of years. There are some fine scratches here and there in the frame but nonetheless good condition. Frame is a handsome brown wood with gold accents. Map has a very classical feel; I believe that it is an artistic reproduction (not exact) of the map created by Hendrik Hondius in 1630, and published the following year at Amsterdam, in the atlas Atlantis Maioris Appendix.
