Beaded Yoruba Chair
Product details
Seller's Notes:I fell in love with this treasure while living in Africa! Traditionally used by the Yoruba Tribe in Nigeria, West Africa, these chairs were hand made with thousands and thousands of tiny beads, and are a perfect example of a functional strong piece of art. It has a wooden frame and the upholstery consists of thousands of tiny strung beads laid upon a fabric backing. This is a single chair, in pure white beads with a flower relief design in relief. It has a darker stain on the left arm rest.
