Seller's Notes:This rare and absolutely stunning Bausch & Lomb Harbormaster 50" solid brass telescope is a piece of sculpture as much as it is functional. It is an authentic reproduction of a 19th-century English telescope. It is limited edition #3504 and is engraved with that number (there are less than 5000 in existence worldwide). It is an amazing eye-catching designer statement piece (it really is a work of art) that is also very functional. Both the telescope and tripod stand are in excellent condition. There are no noticeable dents or dings on the brass - it is in perfect quality. The beautiful finished wooden legs are also in extremely good condition (although there are a couple of very minor scratches at the base that can be easily fixed/repaired if you want). The optics are very good and it focuses well. The magnification is 35x with a 3" diam lens. The telescope measures approximately 50" in length and 3" at the widest point. It stands approximately 60" tall on the tripod. The telescope and tripod together weigh 35lbs. Open to offers.
