Seller's Notes:This desk makes a statement. Roll top barrel desk with leather writing surface, 6 small drawers and 4 carved nooks. Both sides have a extendable half circle writing surface. That’s where the normal description ends. I bought this at auction because it was so unique. It had chandelier lights mounted on either side. I removed the lights but left the brass sconce piece in place. The light switch is still in the desk but can easily be removed. I love the secret storage area under the writing surface. The legs are scrolled with a brass endings. The drawers are perfect for organizing all those little desk things like paper clips. I really love it but don’t have room for it anymore. Wear consistent with a well loved vintage piece. Superficial scuffs that do not effect the use of the piece. The sides when flipped up extend 8 1/2 inches (individually)
