Seller's Notes:This is a vintage set of 3 Ant chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen and made by Fritz Hansen of Denmark in the 1960s (the Ant chair is still made today, though the construction is somewhat different). These chairs have 3 legs, like a stool, rather than 4, and they are stackable. They are made of molded wood veneer -- likely teak. The wood grain is as lovely as you'd expect. Being vintage, they show some evidence of wear, and there has been repair to the seat pans during refinishing sometime before I bought them a dozen years ago (see photos where patching is visible on all 3 seat pans). There are some lightly faded spots on two of the seat pans which are not very noticeable.
