It is cast of steel and aluminum alloy, and has a dark bronze finish. The slender boom arm floats light over a couch or sectional and is easy to move. The ball-shaped counterweight makes it easy to adjust with a touch and the head pivots to direct the light. The base has a very sturdy weight that keeps the lamp stable.
