Seller's Notes:A genuine original chandelier designed and made by the well-known New York based Apparatus Studio which embraces the tradition of studio craftsmanship to create pieces that are works of art with modernist design principle as inspiration. This chandelier has never been installed with all of its components in brand new conditions. It consists of a mounting canopy, a top stem and a central structure with chains suspending 37 featherweight glass orbs. All metal components are in aged brass finish and the glass orbs are mouth-blown and frosted by hand to create an irregular texture reminiscent of 19th-century frosting techniques. The effect is a central light source emitting a soft glow that is refracted through the surrounding cluster of orbs.
