Seller's Notes:Neighborhood landlord passed this on to me. There is a matching night table (pictured on top) as well. That is the piece that is more scratched on the edges (as per the pictures). They are both soooo beautiful. I think they may be hand carved. The bottom drawer on the dresser is a little hard to open (one of those up and overs) and I haven’t really used it as much as the others. The drawers are wide and long (not high or deep, but I have fit more than I thought I could, because the length of the drawers is just a lot more than the modern ones...just have to get used to stacking things beside rather than piling things high). The old smell in it is something I haven’t tried to get out, but would probably take a primer to it or use some other method to get the strong smell out. The drawers are also in the old style of dresser where it was just the drawers and no special rollers or springs or anything to make the open and shutting of it a breeze. It’s rustic in that way. Just the drawers cut to fit just right in the openings.
