Seller's Notes:This is a great old metal-covered wood trunk from an antique fair in Illinois. It seems very old and has a nice patina. The wood on the inside is very stained. There are leather handles which you can see in the photos. Overall seems vaguely military perhaps. Because it is very old and in not great condition, I probably would not recommend carrying heavy items around in it. It is still all in one piece with no major holes or breaks, but does seem a little fragile given its age. A really interesting piece! I've had it for a few years now but am moving and don't really have a place for it in my new apartment.
