Seller's Notes:Excellent antique/vintage wooden table. This is a solid wood antique table with post legs. It is oval with fold down sides to make it a rectangular table and metal brackets that hold the folded down sides up. Perfect table for an apartment as it can fold down its sides to be smaller, fold up to be oval, or may be expanded by adding table leafs for family gatherings. It is expandable to seat additional people. Table pulls apart at center (see picture) that allows leafs to be inserted. There is one leaf that matches the table and is 11" wide (making the table 62" in length), there is a second not-matching leaf which I have used with the table that is 10" wide (making the table 72" in length). When oval the table's dimensions are: 51" L x 40" W x 27" H. When rectangular (sides folded down) the table's dimensions are: 26" L x 40" W x 27" H. With first leaf: 62" L. With second leaf: 72" L.
