Seller's Notes:We bought this couch from an antique furniture dealer several years ago! It was in amazing shape when we purchased it - just some small scratches from wear and tear over the years. This gorgeous piece shows the immense craftsmanship you might find in pieces from the early 20th century. The structure features hand carved wood detailing including the eagle with its wings spread, roses, and other floral motifs along the back board. The upholstery is decadent red velvet - there is extremely minimal wear on the fabric. We purchased this couch about 4 years ago and it has barely been used during that time! it lives in our office (which is dog friendly so it may have come into contact with a pup once or twice) but we'd much rather see it go to a home where it is on full display and appreciated in all it's splendor
