Seller's Notes: Absolutely beautiful, vintage desk made from rare and highly sought after tiger oak wood. All hardwood with vintage touches. The drawers have no slides, it’s wood on wood construction with dovetail joints rather than screws or glue, it’s a level of quality one rarely finds these days. Desk is double sided, so it can be set against a wall or placed centrally to make use of both sides. The sides of the desk swing open, this feature was often added to high end desks in the early 20th century to be used for liquor storage but they have many potential uses. Really a magnificent piece.
