Seller's Notes:We found this beautiful general store counter at the Antiques Warehouse in Hudson, NY. It is actually a recreation of a vintage counter, so the piece is very sturdy, clean and functional. The slate blue paint is new but has been intentionally and lightly sanded along the edges to give the piece a warm appearance. Also, the hardware is vintage and has a lovely patina of age, but is not loose at all. This counter has been the site of many happy meal preps and parties, as it invites guests to stand around and talk while the cook prepares the meal. It has given a wonderful homey feel to the kitchen in our loft space.
