Seller's Notes:This beautiful antique spent much of its life thus far in artists' studios. It is partially covered in layers of old paint. (And be aware -- this is an antique, so some of that paint might have contained lead; thus this may not be the right choice for a household with young children.) It is not a table that will hold heavy loads. The entire table is shaky -- you can readily sway it back and forth. But it has been in continuous use holding light items, and is perfectly usable for that purpose. This is a table for the antique lover -- who will appreciate the spooled legs and the graceful curves of the table top and drawer. Please note that the table top has a split (see photo). There is chipped paint, etc., over all its surfaces; not all of those irregularities may be captured in the photos, but the photos give a representative sense.
