Seller's Notes:Beautiful Antique Buffet — Estate Sale Find with Timeless Character There’s something special about furniture that has already lived a life, and this beautiful antique buffet is one of those pieces that immediately caught my attention. I originally found this piece at an estate sale, where I ended up purchasing several pieces because I absolutely fell in love with the craftsmanship, detailing, and character of older furniture. I have always had a soft spot for pieces that you simply don’t see being made the same way anymore — especially furniture with beautiful wood grain, decorative inlay, original-style hardware, and those little imperfections that tell you it has been around and loved. This buffet was one of the pieces I couldn’t leave behind. It has a gorgeous deep, warm wood finish with striking figured wood on the cabinet doors, delicate decorative trim, and beautiful ornate pulls. The oval detailing on the doors gives it an especially elegant look, and the long, substantial top gives you plenty of room to display lamps, artwork, family photographs, china, flowers, or whatever you choose to make it your own. I originally envisioned keeping these pieces and eventually incorporating them into my own home, but after collecting several items from the estate sale, I’ve realized I simply have more beautiful furniture than I have room for. Rather than letting this piece sit in storage or tucked away somewhere where nobody gets to enjoy it, I’d much rather pass it along to someone who will appreciate it. This would be absolutely gorgeous in a dining room, formal living room, entryway, or even used as a statement piece in a bedroom or sitting room. It has that classic, elegant look that works beautifully with traditional, vintage, French-inspired, Art Deco, or even modern interiors. Condition: Please look closely at all photos. This is an older piece of furniture and has signs of age and previous use, including some scratches, wear, and imperfections. Those imperfections are part of the character of an older piece and should be expected. The hardware and decorative details have a beautiful aged appearance as well. I’m not selling this because there is anything wrong with it — I’m simply downsizing my collection and hoping to find it a new home. I’d love for it to go to someone who sees what I saw when I found it at that estate sale: a beautiful piece of furniture with history, character, and another chapter still waiting to be written. Serious inquiries only, please. Local pickup. If you love antique furniture, restoration projects, or pieces with a story behind them, follow my page collectively tedrick. ❤️
