Seller's Notes:This large mirror is designed to stand on a shelf. The dimensions of 53" x 53" are the overall measurements, including decorative border, lugs and feet. The actual glass in the mirror is 38" x 49.5". The mirror rests on small, domed feet (photo 3) and is then secured to the wall by screws (photo 4). There is decorative plaster molding on the wooden frame as well as in the bottom outer edges of the frame (photo 3) and the top inside corners of the mirror (photo 4). This has been painted black but could be picked out in gold. There are a couple of spots on the mirror but in general the glass is in good condition. Selling because I am moving to a studio where this will not fit.
