Product details
Seller's Notes: I brought this hall stand, for foyer organization from a trendy clothing boutique located in center city Philly that was closing. They used it as a specialty design element on their sales floor. It is solid oak with a slightly darker stain; it is very strong and not a delicate antique, but a piece that we utilize every day with the traffic of a busy household. Since it is Mission Style, it mixes well with modern and contemporary décor. There are no carvings, or gee-gaws, just the smooth curves of the wood itself. It is a real workhorse, with a modern esthetic of Form Follows Function. It has its original four quad iron hooks, original mirror, and all original structural parts. The seat was rebuilt with original oak, and the storage underneath the seat was rebuilt with new materials. It is a real gem, an authentic item from a century ago. We use it every day for hallway foyer organization and to give our home a touch of the past to compliment our modern furniture.
