Seller's Notes:This is a wonderfully-detailed full size bed, with elaborately finished headboard and footboard, all in nickeled brass, was made in France in the 1920s as Classical design was merging with Art Deco. The central panels depict a floral basket motif in vivid bas relief, and the head and foot are trimmed in elaborate Classical moldings. The claw foot legs are wonderful, and tongue and groove beams to support the box spring are included for easy assembly. We purchased this roughly 30 years ago in the Hamptons and would love to find a good home for it.
