Seller's Notes:This is a one of a kind hand carved piece that commands attention. It is a bookcase from India that was made out of a reclaimed window. It’s in good vintage condition, particularly given its age and rarity. The first shelf from the bottom, though not cracked, has a rough spot, shown in one of the pictures. There are a few tiny holes on the sides. They're in the side picture, but they are so minute you wouldn't notice them unless you were really close. It's a solid wood piece, and the sides had been used for hanging things. The piece stands sturdily thanks its excellent quality and high craftsmanship. It has some signs of considerate use consistent with the normal, residential life it has had. It is a gorgeous piece that will bring beauty to any room.
