Seller's Notes:This beautiful demilune, or half-moon, side table has an antiquer's label inside one of the drawers verifying that is a late 18th century Dutch mahogany cabinet fitted with two drawers above and tambour cupboard below. The two drawers lock with the original iron key. The sliding tambour cabinets below need work to slide easily and stay on track. The left one is stuck closed and the right one is too loose. The top surface has a partial split in the board as visible in the photos. The wood is in good condition, though needing some cleaning and polish. Refinishing is certainly an option as well but the current finish still has good lustre.
