Seller's Notes:This is a beautiful antique barrister bookcase manufactured by Hale of Herkimer, New York. It is more of a light brown than dark brown -- there's no light brown option on the Aptdeco template. It comes in five stacking pieces -- the base, three shelf sections, and the top. The top shows some stains that you can see in the pictures. The bottom shelf will hold a maximum book size of about 11 inches high by 9 inches deep. The middle shelf will hold a maximum book size of about 9 inches high by 9 inches deep. The top shelf will hold a maximum book size of about 8 inches high and 9 inches deep. Inside, the sections measure about 32 inches wide. I don't know if the glass is original. The manufacturer's stickers are there on each section.
