Seller's Notes:This antique settee was purchased at Doyle Auction House 35 years ago. After purchasing, it was structurally repaired and reupholstered with antique velvet fabric. The total cost in 1981 was $1,850. Over the years we have enjoyed this piece very much. The carved swan arms always draw a comment when people visit our apartment. The restoration has held up well and now just needs a minor repair to reattach fabric for about 10 inches on the right arm where the fabric attaches to the walnut frame. There are a few small chips in the veneer that I chose not to fill in.
