Seller's Notes:I inherited this table from my grandparents almost ten years ago but sadly (or happily!) I can no longer house it as I make room to raise a family in NYC. In my various apartments I have used it as a breakfast nook table, a full dining table for 10+ guests, and now as an entryway table. The age of the table is unknown, but my family estimates it is over 50 years old (the number in the picture could be a date, but I suspect it is not). Pictures were taken on 1/1/2020 and you can see it is still fully functional in every shape. Unfortunately the original had four leaves and over the years we must have left two behind somewhere, but perhaps a skilled woodworker could build two more (the table can still open that far). Table includes the two leaves and pads for all surfaces. In its current state, the table can stretch up to 83", an impressive length for a table that shrinks as small as 24". Measurements are: Height: 29" Depth: 42" No extensions or drop-leaves: 24" Each drop-leaf: 18" Each leaf: 11.5" Condition: Table is antique and has been past down through three generations in a number of residences. As such, the structure, while completely functional, requires one to be delicate in moving it. To preserve the life of the table, I recommend always moving it with two people and lifting rather than dragging. Finish has a few scratches and smudges, but very few that can be seen by a passive observer. Wheels do not work; table should be treated as just having legs with no wheels (though new caps with wheels could be fashioned). Pads are stained and tattered, but would not be used unless covered by a table cloth.
