Seller's Notes:My mother fell in love with this table when she was in England and had it shipped back to New York many years ago. It was made in about 1920. Thick hand-carved barley twist legs remain as sturdy as they are elegant. And the leaves continue to pull out very smoothly, expanding from 44" wide to 78" wide. The term pub table was coined because "draw leaf" tables like this are a mainstay of the English pub. It's in very good condition.
