Seller's Notes:This is a Japanese Satsuma ware vase, likely from the late 19th or early 20th century, possibly from the Meiji period (1868-1912). This porcelain vase has two handles and a fluted top. It features intricate, hand-painted designs with heavy use of gold embellishments, including panels with floral motifs and stylized birds. The glaze is smooth and lustrous, with intentional crazing that adds to its characteristic appearance. Notice the “M” inside the wreath. This was used by the Morimura Brothers on Nippon porcelain. The mark validates the piece was hand-painted and produced between the late 1800’s and early 1900’s.
