Seller's Notes:A Chinese provincial elmwood cabinet with iron hardware, 19th to early 20th century. At 35.25 inches wide, 19.5 inches deep, and 27.5 inches tall, it sits comfortably between accent chest and sideboard in scale — shallow enough for a hallway or bedroom wall, wide enough to serve as a bar cabinet or compact dining room sideboard. Two stacked drawers on the left with iron butterfly pulls, two cabinet doors on the right with large circular iron lockplate medallion spanning both doors, interior shelving behind the doors. Bracket base with chamfered top corners. Mortise and tenon construction with exposed peg joinery on the top surface. Solid elmwood throughout with dramatic swirling grain, natural knots, and two-tone heartwood and sapwood character visible across all surfaces. The iron hardware carries the dense dark patination of genuine age.
