Seller's Notes:This is a family estate item. This is a unique brass and wood table lamp. It is mid-20th century and belonged to my grandparents. Based on AI characteristics "this is a vintage Stiffel brass and wood table lamp." Since I cannot find the brand written on this lamp, I can neither confirm nor deny that it is a Stiffel. It is unique in that, as of yet, I cannot find one just like it, but it does look like many of the Stiffel style lamps available. There is no shade available for this lamp and the light bulb is not included. The brass shows some patina. The wood has some scratches but they do not take away from it's natural beauty. It is fairly heavy. It is tall at 38 inches with a base diameter of 7 inches. It is level and does not wobble. Although the 3-way light switch works, and it will give you a lighted bulb, I personally recommend, especially if using it for everyday lighting needs, rewiring this antique lamp as the plug is not safety rated for today's standards and the cord is dry.
