Seller's Notes:Beautiful antique Chinese (?) Elmwood three-drawer desk with metalwork & lock design. The metal pieces that allow you to lock the drawers are quite stiff, but it is possible to use them (see photo). Otherwise they are decorative & conversational. This is a particularly lovely desk - most I have seen in this style are far plainer. Please note, of course, that it was never in "perfect" condition. Its flaws give it character, and always have. It is unique and one-of-a-kind and should be purchased someone who desires that. If that is you, you will love this desk. I have loved it & actually refused to part with it until it became impossible not to. So, my reality may be your good luck.
