Seller's Notes:The American Leather Comfort Sleeper is among the best sleeper sofas available. With the patented tri-fold Tiffany 24/7 sleeper mechanism, the couch features a bed with no bars, no springs, and no sagging. The bed tucks away behind and beneath the sofa cushions in thirds, allowing for a true-to-size, 80" bed instead of the smaller versions often found in pull-out sofas, all while taking up less space than conventional sleeper-sofas. With a mid-century design, the sofa itself is beautiful and functional. Attention to detail, such as the cloth undershield that protects the bed and mechanism from dust, is what sets an American Leather Sofa apart. This particular sofa - a Queen-Size Payton model - was purchased from Jensen Lewis in Manhattan in September, 2015 for $3,400. It has been in our home office (a non-smoking, no-pet home) that entire time, and has been slept on by fewer than 5 visitors. We’re converting our office to a nursery, and no longer have room for this mint-condition sofa. The width is akin to your standard sofa, making it the perfect apartment-size pull out sofa.
