Seller's Notes:All I can tell you is that my Mother, who was a Brit, learned to crawl on this rug in Meerut India when her Father was stationed there. Did my Grandparents bring the rug from England or acquire it in India? I'm guessing India. A Manhattan rug expert told me the rug is probably worth around $4,000. I would keep it if I had somewhere to use it, but I do not and it seems a shame not to have someone have the use of it. So that's it - thanks
