Seller's Notes:Good as new condition - no blemishes or broken features. I didn't use it for books, I used it to store dining platters and bowls, vases and placemats. The bottom cabinet is very spacious, can fit wine bottles as well, if of interest. It's a versatile piece, you can use it however suits your needs. For me, it fit perfectly in a corner of my apt and gave me a little more room to store my kitchen/dinnerware nicely. The retailer link I shared is essentially the same item, though technically not the same maker. My purchase was listed as a "mocha" color of wood.
