Seller's Notes:A set of six Fratelli Tominaga design Coco chairs in bright red lacquer, the design came out in 2001. Sold through Design Within Reach in the USA. Discontinued. ***Japanese minimalism meets Italian nuance in the graceful and practical Coco Chair (2001). Constructed from durable beech plywood, the build is lightweight yet extremely sturdy for easy maneuvering in dining rooms. The continuous barrel backrest doubles as an armrest and can be hung on a tabletop to free up floor space for cleaning of storage. The generously sized seat has a subtle circular indentation for increased comfort. A single piece of solid beech wood acts as both the back leg and backrest support to provide maximum strenghth. Available in a versatile stained ebony, as well as a striking red. The lacquer is repeatedly applied for a thick, consistent finish.
