Seller's Notes:Set of 2 original Gus Modern Delano Chairs in black leather. Simple clean lines. Top-stitched, tufted seat and back cushions. Bench-made, brushed stainless steel frame with mitered corners. (The newer version has a rounded, chrome frame.) Seat and back cushion fill is Dacron®-wrapped to maintain shape. Purchased new at $800/chair. Used primarily for decorative purposes and rarely sat on. Over time, the leather polishing was less regular and the sun/dry air led to some thin peeling. Polished up and maintained, these chairs can last another decade. Firm seats. Pet-free and smoke-free home.

Wear and tear details: Some leather is peeling from dryness. Chairs have rarely been sat on in all these years. They were mostly decorative. With regular leather care, they will last a very long time., One chair fared better than the other (the one facing away from the window)
