Seller's Notes:On offer on this occasion is a sublime, beautifully-presented “Florence Knoll” Round Desk Dining-Table in “Carrara” Marble, manufactured by the leading Furniture manufacturer, Knoll Studio. This table is in superb, impeccably-maintained condition, having seen light, regular use in our home. Was used both for dining and as an office table. Its hugely handsome order reflects the TLC and considerate use afforded it in the past but, as you would think normal when considering the nature and colour of this particular marble, it does possess the bare-minimum of barely-visible and largely-inconsequential surface marks on the polished-top and edges (as you might consider normal), a crack through the top was repaired so well, one cannot detect the crack from any natural inclusions, there are some modest-marks to the chrome-finish of the base, but remains in a beautiful, original, unmolested state of presentation. For the avoidance of doubt, please view the numerous images provided to confirm the superb condition and appearance of this gem. Clearly not in truly-perfect condition, but a true classic of modern furniture design presented in as good-condition as you are likely to find. Whilst it could not be considered pristine due to the reasons stated above, it is certain to meet the requirements of all but the most-particular and true-perfectionist of buyers and, for someone looking for a piece of peerless design and execution to position at the heart of their home, it is truly heaven sent! Without question, this superb table possesses all the beauty and majesty you would expect from one of the finest contemporary manufacturers in the world.
