1960s-era Cocktail Cabinet
Product details
Seller's Notes:A well-preserved 1960s-era cocktail cabinet designed by British furniture designer, Kate Noakes. Kate has finished with her brushed silver and red lacquer handiwork creating a stunning combination of hand-cut and polished metal designs inlaid into a coat of gesso lacquer atop antique furniture. This unit also has a light (though I think we would need an adapter since it’s from the UK). Legs screw on/off if needed From Kate: "The other piece is a 60’s or 70’s red cocktail cabinet. I made this piece for the London Design Festival as I needed a piece with strong colour. It’s a very retro / fun piece - when the top door is pulled down the top flap simultaneously lifts up and a light comes on. The electrics have been PAT tested to European standards.
