Seller's Notes:This 4 drawer 18th Century Wooden Bombay Chest of Drawers has been uninterrupted for over two centuries. With two drawers on top and two larger drawers completing the bottom, there is a plethora of space. The original hand crafted dovetails look as new as the day they were carved. The interior wood is of European pine, and the outside wood is a combination of the finest walnut and cherry wood. Its beautiful shine comes from the varnish of the original period, and finished with old French polish that has been hand waxed for a smooth touch. The details do not stop there; the bronze escutcheons and handles are hand-forged original additions from the period it was made. This statement piece will complete a space, and light up any room it inhabits.
